AOC Saint Véran
Pleasant nose of white flowers, with a hint of brioche. Corpulent and aromatic, fresh and deliberate. Notes of nutmeg develop in the finish. Multi-dimensional long finish.
Mâconnais is the land of Chardonnay, 80% of the area is planted with this grape. Saint Véran is an "appelation -Villages", southwest of Mâcon, around the village of Saint Vérand.
The Cave de Chaintré was founded in 1928 and merged with the Cave de Juliénas in 2013. The cooperation is relatively small, with only 200 hectares.

This wine is wonderful when served as an apertif or salmon tartar, scallops on a bed of black lentils, or with soft cheeses.
