Chateauneuf du Pape is in the south of the Rhone Valley, around the ruins of the papal sommer palaces. This is a region that is know for its special terrior.
Chateau de Vaudieu is one of the selten larger vineyards in Chateauneuf du Pape, with over 70 hectars. Vaudieu, short for Val de Dieu, means god's valley, and lies in a protected sunny valley. Vines have been growning here for over 250 years.

Wonderful with blutwurst with apple compote, filiet of cod with white butter sauce, goose liver pate with dried figs, Scallops, jumbo shrimp, lobster, and the like.
