A sparkling crystal clear light yellow colour, with green reflections. Complex aromas of apricots, exotic fruit (litchee), and white flowers (jasmine, tail roses) . Fresh and full bodied. Aromatic, with notes of iodine, which develop along your palate. Long and fine finish.
The Coteaux du Languedoc lies between Narbonne and Nîmes, along the coast line. It was recognized as a wine region in 1985. La Clape was an island 500 years ago and is considered one of the most lovely wine regions in Coteaux du Languedoc.
MIre L'Etang means to look into the pond in English. They might have named the 50 hectares vineyard this, due to the pond located next to the vineyard. The family Chameyrac has owned this vineyard since 1972 and since 2003 is listed as a Terra Vitis Agriculture raisonnée vineyard. The namesake of this wine,Aimée de Coigny, married the Duke of Fleury in 1785.
