Sparkeling garnet red. Promising nose of ripe blackberry and black currant, with a hint of liquorice wood and violets. Well balanced and full bodied. Fine tannins. Spices and notes of mint develop in the velvety long finish.
Rasteau is a village, on the slope of a hill in the Rhone Valley. This is an area that produces strong red wines, dominated by grenache. This region was certified in 2010 as a Cru-region.
Julien Martin started with 5 hectars in 1905. Today the vineyard has over 70 hectars and is still be run by the Martin family.
