Crimson colour. Seductive aromas of small ripe black berries (black currant & blackberry), and black cherries, with notes of licorice. This wine has a well rounded and full finish. Well rounded tannins. A hint of licorice and white pepper in the long finish. Elegant and authentic.
Bosquet means small forest in English. Vines were growing on this vineyard dating back to the 14th century. The home was built in 1644. The vineyard is ca. 25 hectares and since 1995 has its own wine cellar where the wine production is looked after, with the help of gravity.
Gigondas was recognized as a certified wine region in 1971.
